Good day, hi, hello, and welcome!
This is our inaugural blog post for what we hope to be an ongoing contribution to the world of adventure and experiential learning. At Adventureworks! Associates, Inc. we are fortunate to work with a variety of excellent groups and people in some equally great locations. There are often times when we finish working with a group or on a project we wish we could share some of the great things that happened. Whether it was a variation on a standard activity that prompted an excellent learning opportunity for a group, a great “ah ha” moment in a training course, or a unique challenge course activity we just finished, we would love to share these things so that others might benefit. So this is why we have have created this blog called “Adventureworking! Notes from the Field.”
We hope this blog is useful for people and becomes a forum where people within the adventure and experiential learning community can interact and contribute. We look forward to sharing our experiences and thoughts on a consistent basis and hope you do as well because adventure really does work!
