Staff Qualifications
Our staff are experienced educators with post-secondary training in the outdoor field who are selected for their significant leadership and facilitation skills. All have completed over 80 hours of training to achieve their Ropes Course Instructor Certificates and have as a minimum Standard First Aid & CPR, many having completed Wilderness Advanced First Aid, or Wilderness First Responder training.

Our operating procedures meet or exceed OPHEA Physical Education Safety Guidelines for Outdoor Rock Climbing, Ropes/Challenge Courses, and Climbing Walls, as well as the ACCT 8th Ed. Standards for Challenge Course Operations.

Liability Insurance
Adventureworks! Associates, Inc. is fully covered by liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on booking.

Equipment and Instructions
During vertical activities, all participants are outfitted with a properly fitted rock climbing seat harness, chest harness, and helmet. Participants who are climbing are protected by a top rope belay. Equipment is inspected daily. Students will be oriented to the cliff environment, and their activity responsibilities prior to participation. Participants are directly supervised by Adventureworks staff during all climbing activities.
