Outdoor Rock Climbing Programs

Rock climbing is powerful activity for goal setting, and seeing through commitments, and serves as a catalyst for lasting personal growth and development. Climbing has also been shown to have a positive effect on physical fitness, brain function, stress relief, and efficacy. Our Outdoor Rock climbing programs leverage the benefits of climbing to create lasting change for groups and individuals.

Our Outdoor Rock Climbing programs make use of the Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area on the Niagara Escarpment in Milton, ON. Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area offers over 200 well developed climbing routes for participants with a wide range of abilities. The well developed climbing area offers quick, easy access to the cliff, convenient drinking water taps, and available washroom facilities. Want to stay overnight for a multi-day climb & rappell experience? Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area also offers camping year-round with picnic shelter and comfort station facilities available from May to October.

The Niagara Escarpment is designated a World Biosphere Reserve by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Participants come face-to-face with centuries old cedar trees, and aquatic fossils dating back over 400 million years, as they look out over the glacial landscape of the Halton region. Rock climbing and rappelling trips are a great experiential learning opportunity for students studying Grade 7 - Patterns in Physical Geography, Grade 11 & 12 course in Physical Geography, or Environmental Management, as well as university- and college-level field study.
