Educating with Adventure

Is adventure a key component of literacy, numeracy, or physical education for your students? Do your instrutional approaches for visual arts, STEM subjects, or social sciences use adventure?

Adventure-based and experiential learning activities support differentiated instruction approaches and can help students make meaningful connections to the curriculum. Through activities and theory, this workshop explores how adventure-based learning can guide your classroom instruction.

You will have an opportunity for meaningful reflection on how to utilize adventure activities in your specific setting to create meaningful, evaluable, curriculum-based adventure learning for students Kindergarten through Grade 12.
